I decided to do a short cover of B.A.P’s 전부 거짓말 which is one of my favourite songs off the Power mini album (although I do really hope I haven’t ruined Daejae’s perfect vocals ;A;) and because it’s a special occasion, I wrote and recorded a very short rap to the track from B.A.P’s first Power teaser and I merged these two recordings together ^^~

After reading the translations of the B.A.P’s interviews in the April issue of Trendy Magazine and seeing that the last song Himchan listened to was Urban Zakapa’s 별을건너다, I decided to do a short cover of Urban Zakapa’s version of Just The Two Of Us (sobsob not only did I finally found a song to do for Himchan’s birthday, I finally found someone to serenade this song with lol) however, I did a little twist to the recording by adding another song to it with my own lyrics ^^~ I’ll give you a huge hint about what this other song could be, in episode 7 of Tadah It’s B.A.P during the swinging ship challenge, Himchan sings a certain song in order for Yongguk to guess the answer…

Hey guys, so this is my anniversary gift to Block B. We all know today is their one year and I decided to write a song in the tune of their song 난리나. I spent the whole day doing this but I will apologise because I don’t think it’s as good as all of the amazing edits, graphics, messages that I’ve seen flying around created by you awesome BBCs!

It was meant to be a loving, maybe cheesy story but it ended up me throwing in some Matct Up memories and trolling jokes OTL but they were still good times right?

I want to quickly thank Block B for filling the empty space in my life and I want to thank you BBCs for becoming my friends and making me feel like I have a place in this world. I owe a lot to this perfect seven and this fandom, I never thought I would smile again until all of you came along. Here’s to many more great memories, laughter and awesome music in the future!

I haven’t done a solo cover in a while so I decided to do a short one of Yongguk (when he was known as Jepp Blackman)’s verse in Slake’s 결혼해줘 (Plz Marry Me) which also features CSP and Kuan. I absolutely love this song and it’s one of my favourites from Yongguk’s predebut music.

It took me 3/4 hours to record and edit this because I kept mucking my lines up for Bang’s verses ;A; and I added my own mini ad-lib at the end because I couldn’t follow Kuan’s beautiful note OTL

Happy Birthday 방용국/Happy Birthday Yongguk!! :DDD

A few weeks ago, I decided to record a song for Yongguk’s birthday. Originally I had planned a cover, however I thought I should try and attempt to write my own song. After trying to find the right instrumental, spending a day or two writing the lyrics and another day on recording, what was the result? Cheese. A lot of cheese! OTL

Dear Bang Yongguk,

Another year has passed and it’s the time to celebrate your 23rd birthday! :)

If I had to describe you in one word, I would choose ‘fighter’. And what I mean by this is that you have been constantly working hard to get to where you are now. You set your mind on getting what you want, knowing that it isn’t going to be easy but making the most of the experience and your journey. You have such a fire in your heart which makes you determined to stand up for what you believe in, it drives you to grab people’s attention but for all the right reasons and most of all, it makes you fulfil your ambition and pursue the career that you love.

I haven’t known of you for that long but already, I feel like I’ve learnt a lot from you. Whether it’s you tweeting about what you’re currently listening to or talking about your views on society and life in general, you’ve made me notice and appreciate the little things in my life and you have definitely inspired me to continue working towards my dreams and when I finally reach them and get to live them, I should continue on working so I can carry on living the life I want to lead.
You remind me to constantly love life and to be grateful to everyone who has helped me be who I am now and get to where I am now.

So I’m going to take this chance to say that I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done so far in my life.

It’s fascinating how your outer image is completely different to who you are inside. On stage and on screen, you’re this deep and husky voiced rapper with a ‘I don’t give a f’ attitude and an angry expression on your face but when you’re on your own or not performing and just having fun, you’re a sensitive, caring and rather dorky individual haha.

I mentioned this in my song already but your smile is definitely one of my favourites. I seriously think your smile could light up a row of streets or cities, or at least it can lighten up my day. I hope that you smile every day, especially on your birthday because you deserve all the happiness in the world.

Even though some of us Babyz are miles apart from one another as well as B.A.P, we’ll continue to cheer you six on! We are excited for your comeback and we will wait patiently for your return.

As I have said before in the partial cover… I was invited to do a collab and managed to snag Zelo’s parts! xD It was so much fun. ;n; I hope I did well enough for you guys to give it a listen. All the girls sound really good, I promise! And it has been decided (by me) that Kim is pretty much the female version of Bang… xD Her voice. Ugh. Just. ;n; ALL OF THE KIM FEELS!!11!!1! xD Anyways. Marisa aka @missyariel: This is Marisa’s first time at doing a Korean song cover and I felt that she did really well.
